Our son lived in Brooklyn and told us this was his favorite pie place. It did not disappoint. Pie was great! Baked oysers were AMAZING! If you are in the area, you have to stop and get some pie!!!
Excellent eatery serving up mostly Italian comfort food (pizza, calzones, pasta, calamari etc.). Great service. Our waitress was very attentive, very effecient. We started out with a complimentary tray of hot sliced Italian bread & butter. Then we had a most delicious mountain of fried calamari which lead to our entrees. Which were eggplant parmigiana hero & cheese ravioli.
Was craving some pizza and pass by and thought why not. I saw that it was a resturant and had a few people in there so I said it must be good. I like that one of the men working behind the counter was welcoming. As soon as I enter he acknowledged us . He spoke and ask if we had any questions. I took some time then I asked. We sat in the dining area and waited. A waitress came over pretty quickly but we told her we were waiting for the pizza. The service was good. We got a pie with half cheese and half pepperoni. The pizza was fresh as he said it would be. However it was a little salty for me and soggy that the cheese was melting off. My BF said this was normal for it to be soggy and the cheese and pepperoni falling off as it just came out of the oven. The pizza was $23 and with a drink came up to $26. It was 8 slices for the pie. Edit: August 2024 After purchasing pizza in manhattan, I said Franks is way better.I now realize the cheese falling off and it being soft is the best part. Thus I've been here twice.
Great local Brooklyn spot all the classic Italian dishes and some really good pizza
Do you turn italian food into an experience? I normally have chicken parmesan. beer and wine sold. Family oriented and nothing super fancy.
Tired of the local pizza. Overpriced, inconsistent and thin. Went out of our way on a rainy day to take out from Frank’s, and it was well worth the trip. Several people behind the counter welcomed me, and after a few minutes I was on my way to the car with 2 slices in a small box. Which is much preferable to an oily bag. My grandson, the pizza maven, was very impressed. Slices were thick, ingredients were quality, and the price was right. Plenty of seating in the store. Other Italian food available. I was surprised that they charged sales tax, but I assume it is allowable. So no complaints. Our new ‘go-to’ pizza place. Good job.
Great customer service from start to finish. Family friendly. My kids loved it. Pizza gives you that real Italian feel sauce, grease, and cheesy Mmmmm. 10/10 highly recommend
Great spot to go get Pizza. They have great slices. And also dishes where you can sit down and order a variety of different foods. It has a good amount of space for seating and plenty of seats. The staff is very nice and friendly helpful. Always have good food when I go, never had a bad experience.
